RIDE
REPORTS The Ride, lead by Jean Pearson, was attended by 5 riders. The trail was well traveled around Granite Mountain and south to the camp areas. We took the opportunity to do some GoeCache hunting using the GPS. (This is a cyberspace based treasure hunt for containers hidden in various locations around the U.S. GPS coordinates are used to locate the boxes.) The one box we found required a short detour of bushwhacking and travel on foot. COW SORTING CLINIC Sunday, November 20, 2005 Sunday, November 20th Susan Dryer organized a cow sorting clinic at the Diamond Tree Ranch on 53rd Street. We had 10 cow punchers and chasers show up riding horses and mules. It was 4 hours of pure fun and games directed by Larry Maybon and his able assistant, Bob. The format of the clinic was an hour or so instructions on what and what not to do followed by a short break and competition. The competition was won by Cindy Ramsey and Ric Ingram through superior horsemanship and riding skill. They went home with prizes of horse treats and 10 bucks of their fellow competitors' money. UPCOMING RIDES The time listed is the time we ride out. Be sure to arrive early enough to be ready to ride at the stated time!!
