PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Some of the March rides were interrupted/rescheduled or cancelled due to some welcome inclement weather. April will be a busy month with cow sorting the Fiesta Days parade, a ride in Estrella Park and a possible overnighter in southern Arizona. See details of these events and rides in this issue.

The "National Day of the Cowboy" organization was discussed during the March meeting. The mission of this organization is to "contribute to the preservation of America's cowboy heritage". The U.S. Senate has set aside a day to pay homage to our cowboy and Western heritage. You can find the organizations' description, goals, and projects, on their web site www.nationaldayofthecowboy.com or through the ASHA web site. The club members have tabled until the next meeting what, if any, support we would like to give this organization. Please check out the web site; it is quite entertaining.
