MERRY CHRISTMAS !
DECEMBER 2006 Next
Meeting: TUESDAY January 16, 2006 7:30PM PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE For those of you who missed the Cave Creek Wild West Days, we had a blast! The volunteers of Cave Creek did an extraordinary job to get the Spur Cross Trail ready for the Poker Ride. Applause, applause for the volunteers and kudos for Bambi Muller, trail coordinator for the town of Cave Creek, who pushed to get the trail done in time. Unfortunately, no club members reaped the benefit of a winning hand, but we all had a great time at the Buffalo Chip after tying our horses at the end of the ride. The day was a turn back in time. We all had fun visiting with friends, drinking a beer and sampling beef ribs courtesy of Larry Wendt and the Buffalo Chip. What fun to sit on our horses and watch the Cowboy Mounted shooting and the Wild West show thanks to TC Thorstenson. That's what Cave Creek is all about! Our next meeting, scheduled in January, will feature Jerry Caswell, a farrier who will welcome your questions regarding the most important part of the horse: his feet! I wish everyone a wonderful holiday season, and I look forward to seeing everyone on the trail in 2007! Special welcome to new members Jean Adams, Sharon Ryan and Mary Sproule! Susan, President 2006 RIDE SCHEDULE UPCOMING CCSC EVENTS AND RIDES: All times are subject to change - Please RSVP.
