Meetings
are held the third Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. from September through May
at the Harris Bank (unless otherwise noted in this space).
Directions:
The Harris Bank is located
on the southeast corner of Scottsdale Road and Carefree Highway outside of El
Pedregal. At the front entrance to the bank, go through the door to your
left and down the stairs to the community room.
 PRESIDENT'S
MESSAGE
The
April meeting featured Steve Jurewicz and Bambi Miller of the Cave Creek Trails
committee. Steve presented an update on the progress so far and the near term
and long term plans and funding for the town trail system. Phase I, the trail
along Spur Cross Road from the Galloway wash to about Azure Hills Road will be
completed this summer. Phase II, will complete the trail to Morning Star Road.
This will lay the ground work of visibility for the much larger program of trails
throughout Cave Creek. If you have not filled out a volunteer sheet in support
of this effort, please do so. Your support is greatly needed.
The May meeting
will be the last for the ’05-’06 season. We will be voting in our new officers
for next year and voting on a change to the dues structure.

The time listed is the time we ride out. Be sure to arrive early enough
to be ready to ride at the stated time!!
Cherry
Hill Saturday May 13
Ride out 10AM.
Andy Lunk will be leading a ride
to Cherry Hill Road aka General Crook trail Copper Canyon segment. The ride is
down and back, level 2, and will last around 5.5 hours including lunch. It is
just under 6 miles one way. Much of the ride follows a stream that crosses the
trail a few times.
Directions:
Take I-17 north to Flagstaff.
About 59 miles north of Carefree Highway exit 278 Cherry Hill Road. Exit Cherry
Hill, turn east (right) and go about 2 miles. On the left will be a parking area.
Lots of parking on the top of the hill. Call Andy for more information at: 623-582-8717.

from Andy: Anyone want to bring hand clippers, there is a few low hanging branches?

Reis Clinic May 20-21
May 20-21 there will be a two day clinic at Westworld
with clinician Dale Reis. He is well known for his segments on RFD-TV. More information
for this May event will be forthcoming. It is my hope to have tickets available
for sale by the April meeting. If you are interested, let me know. Cindy 480-488-8444

TRAILER DECALS
A real nice 10 inch diameter
decal of the club logo is available for the modest price of $10. The border circle
and horseshoe are red, the lettering and horse head are black. It’s a must for
