PREZ SEZ
I'm sorry so many of you missed the fabulous
program that we had at the March meeting. I assume St Paddy’s
Day occupied your evening! Bill Warner; Entomologist and
Product Development Manager at Farnam Companies gave us an
up close and personal review of flies
and other pests our horses live with. I wish he could have
gone on another hour as we were all entranced by his information.
He then handed out several fly control door prizes including fly
masks and fly sprays made by Farnam.
This month we had scheduled to have a tack
fitting discussion, but unfortunately our speaker will be out of
town. However, you can look forward to learning about AERO.
Soleil
Dolce from Arizona Equine Rescue Organization will inform us about
the state of rescue groups.
The
other item
of importance at the April meeting is
nomination of officers and other lead
duties for our club. The elections will then be held at the
May meeting. Please submit your nominations at the meeting, by
email or call me if you cannot attend the April meeting.
Please step up if you are willing to take on one of the duties of
CCSC. If you have questions regarding the duties of any
position, feel free to call or email the current person who will be
happy to explain what their position entails!
The director positions are President, Vice
President, Treasurer, and Secretary. There are also the
positions of Trail Coordinator, Events Coordinator, and Newsletter
which are named by membership. Please join us in making decisions
about your riding club for the upcoming year.
Please join us on May 19th
for the closing ride year activity. We are planning a special
dinner event with chuck wagon cooking in the wagon yard of the
Buffalo Chip.
More detailed information follows in this
newsletter.

Trail Description: The majority of this trail is
flat with some rocks. It winds through the desert and washes.
It has been improved greatly over the past years and is a beautiful
ride. However, there are about 2 miles in the middle of the ride
that wind through washes, canyons and other terrain which is the
reason for the higher rating.
